Gold Party

We bought our condo from Paige Rhodes, who after she married her husband Don moved elsewhere in Cameron Station.  Today, Paige is doing the Susan G. Komen 3-Day to support breast cancer research.  Last week, Paige hosted a “gold party” to raise money for this event.  Charlotte and I went to it to show our support.  A reporter from the Washington Post, Hank Stuever, covered the party.  His story appeared in Tuesday’s edition of the Post.  It is an excellent article.  Most important, he was very interested in the fact that I have written a book about my late wife Laura and her battle with breast cancer.  I will contact him again once the book is published, hopefully later this year.
