My Life with Laura: A Love Story, a memoir, is now available from Lulu. I have spent much of the past year writing this book, and I hope that it serves as a testament to my late wife Laura’s life and her tremendous strength in battling breast cancer. As most of you know, she passed away on November 13, 2007. Special thanks to my friends and colleagues, Rebecca Krafft and Rob Kleinsteuber, who helped with editing and cover design. Note that I have applied for Library of Congress cataloging information, so the copyright page will be edited in the next week or so.
I have added a new blog page titled “My Memoir” to highlight overall coverage of the book.

Hi Chad,
I really enjoyed your memoir; thank you for sharing the story of your wonderful life. The way she lived her life with cancer is truly inspirational – still loving, and really living.
I did want to mention that “triple negative” breast cancer has nothing to do with BRCA status; in fact, BRCA+ breast cancer patients are often likely to present with triple negative breast cancers. Triple negative means Estrogen Receptor negative, Progesterone Receptor negative, and Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (Her2) negative. You are correct, it is a very aggressive form of breast cancer with a more likely chance of recurrence.
Thanks again for sharing.
Pam
