Turning Forty
Tomorrow, I turn forty years old. The attached picture is of me at six weeks old in 1969. In some ways, it is hard to believe that I am now “middle age” (or is it true that “forty is the new 30″?). I do not feel twenty anymore, but I do not feel over the hill either. While it is hard to say where I might be in five or ten years, I can honestly say that I am happy with where I am and where I have been in my forty years. It will be interesting seeing what comes next….
On Saturday, we had 70+ people (including around 30 kids) at my place to celebrate my birthday. I think that we set a record for number of people at one of my parties! Who knew that I had that many friends? Thanks to everyone who came, especially my girlfriend who helped out tremendously. I am truly feeling blessed.
