Jacki Donaldson has written extensively about her “journey” with breast cancer on her popular website, My Breast Cancer Blog (or cancerspot.org). Through her entries, we learn about her life with her husband and two young sons. She also writes regularly for a number of other publications, such as Family Circle, That’s Fit, Trusera, and others. She is a busy woman, and I am grateful to her for wanting to participate in the Blog Book Tour. Thanks to Stacy Martello of Fight Pink for bringing us together.
Today, Jacki discusses my book on her blog. Last month, she posted a “teaser” for the tour, where she wrote about putting herself in Laura and my shoes. Yet, she also noted the distinct differences, including the fact that four years after her diagnosis, she is alive and a “survivor.” In her post today, she focuses on several of Laura’s journal entries, which are scattered throughout my book. Jacki has done a lot through her many writings to put a face on breast cancer, and we are grateful that she has chronicled it all on her blog.
