Day Four: Make Some Lemonade

Day four of the Blog Book Tour brings me to one of the most creative blog titles I have run across - Make Some Lemonade: When Life Hands You Lemons, Put Them in Your Bra.  This blog is written by Gena Womack, a thirty-year-old from Stafford, Virginia.  She is a wife and mother of a young son.  In addition to discussing breast cancer, her blog covers the challenges of motherhood and everyday life.  It is a fun read, and the overall presentation and design are very impressive and professional-looking.  She is also well connected into the various “mom” blogs through two websites, The Mom Blog Network and The Mom Blogs

Today, Gena reviews my memoir on the Make Some Lemonade blog.  I particularly appreciate her statement, “This Book ROCKS!”  I did not know Gena before this blog book tour, so I really love to hear people such as her say that they got to know Laura, Charlotte, and me through my writing.  (I am equally proud of similar comments coming from those who did know Laura.)  Gena ends her review with the following passage:

Being a breast cancer survivor this book covers many of the issues I constantly think about and even some I try to not even address out of fear.  Chad covers it all and lets the reader know it is okay to go through the process.  Like I said earlier I admire Chad for his courage to write this book.  It will forever be a part of me.  After reading the book you will find yourself wanting to be a better person and embracing life with the spirit of Laura at your side.

A very nice review.  Thanks, Gena, for taking the time to read my book and write about it.
